Create a custom party of up to four characters and battle your way into the depths of the monster's dungeon, where you will meet ever more powerful monster types and bosses with unique abilities dropping increasingly more powerful loot.
The game features a wide variety of customization options in the way of statistics, spells and items for your characters, and the musical backdrop is excellent. It also features several modes of play, which makes for great replay value especially when you decide to also experiment with party set-ups.
The game play is as fun at it is simple, it is based on a 2d labyrinth made up of adjointing rooms of various configurations. Some rooms contain power-ups, some will have enemies, and others yet contain ancient treasure chests that may provide your party of adventurers with an epic piece of weaponry or clothing that greatly boosts your abilities.
It is up to you if you want to uncover every room in a level's labyrinth before finding your way to the next one, but doing so will make your party more experienced and better outfitted for the dangerous foes to come.
This game is quite deep so I will not go into all the ways to play or control it, suffice to say for now that you can click on a visible room to move to it, and that moving to a room will automatically initiate the action with which it is associated. A room with a sword icon will take you directly into combat with the creatures within, for example.
Tips: A party with a well-rounded selection of classes will have less issues with distributing the huge amounts of role specific gear that you will uncover.
Also, make sure you place your melee party members in the top row of the battle interface, and healers and ranged classes in the bottom one. In most situations this will prevent the enemy from tearing the frailer members of your party apart.
