My husband is addicted to Age Of Empires and loves to play it all the time. It looks like an excellent game, but so far I've never gotten into it. Does anyone else play Age Of Empires or have any experience with it?

That thing (the II) ate up months of my life way back, it's a great series. You guys should do a couple LAN games and cooperate against the computer, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

It's pretty fun although I never got really into it. For those of you have played it though, would you recommend 'Age of Empires' over the 'Civilization' series? I want to get into a "historical" RTS and can't decide which one.

Right now, I have the third installation and is always playing I when am too bored to work on my site. The only agonizing thing is that it doesn’t have any cheats.

I hate cheats anyways. I cannot resist "just trying" a cheat and then I start to depend on them. :( what can I say I am weak. AOE III looks really good.

Hi civilisation is not as good as age of empires as it is a turn based game. In answer to cheats have you tried playing Age of Empires on normal for about 10 days it will increase the ability on the easy game. When you have done that try to brave it on hard as you will find it is easier.
